While we were in Montana, we got the sad news that Chris' grandfather, who has been pretty ill for a few months, passed away. We are so glad that Kirsa and Elijah had the chance to meet their great grandpa, even if Kirsa won't remember, and take a few pictures this summer. I'm also glad that the book I made for Great Grandpa and Great Grandma with pictures of them and Elijah + Kirsa over the past 3 years arrived a few weeks ago and they were able to enjoy it together.
We are sad that Chris won't be able to attend the funeral as he's taking his Board exams, but we're thinking of the rest of the family and remembering Great Grandpa from Colorado. He will be missed!!
I'll add a few pages from the book below so you can have a taste of what they got! (The cover page has the last names blotted out but it was too cute not to post it - you'll just have to imagine it complete! :) ) I just love doing these books through Viovio and other websites, so simple and such a great little gift!
